Beautiful MTB tour with start in Roveredo that allowed to reach Giova through a suggestive Wood. The descend that bring you first to Buseno and then to Castaneda through Grono is difficult, but the landscape is delightful.

Description

The tour begin from the square of Roveredo and guide in direction of Bellinzona of the east riverside of Moesa. When you arrive on S.Vittore cross the bridge and pass through the champaign of S.Vittore for reach the village. At the cantonal road turn on the left in direction from Bellinzona. Just bevor that you reach the "grotti from S.Vittore" take the street on the right for Giova. Here the road climb and penetrate in the marvellous wood for take you to Giova and then the montain of S.Carlo. From the montain of S.Carlo the clim-down is begining in direction of the lake Buseno. A Molina di Fora you have to take the steer way that climb slowly in direction of Castaneda. From the sunny Castaneda you continue until Campagna for then take the steer road that descend until Nadro and then Grono.

In Grono you continue until the river Moesa. You cross the bridge and continue of the east riverside from the Moesa in direction Bellinzona. Along the river you reach the start point Roveredo.

Directions

The tour starts in the square in the center of Roveredo. From there, head towards Bellinzona on the east bank of the Moesa River. At S. Vittore, cross the bridge to head towards the village of S. Vittore and cross the plain until you reach the cantonal road, where you have to fly left towards Bellinzona. Just before the caves of S. Vittore, turn right towards Giova. Here the road climbs and penetrates the beautiful forest to reach Giova and then the mountains of S. Carlo. From the mountains of S. Carlo, the descent to Lake Buseno begins. In Molina di Fora you have to take the dirt road that climbs slightly towards Castaneda. From sunny Castaneda we continue to Campagna and then on the dirt road that descends to Nadro and then to Grono.

In Grono we continue to the river Moesa. Cross the bridge and then continue along the east bank of the Moesa River towards Bellinzona. Along the river, you will finally reach Roveredo, the starting point of the tour.
