Description
William Wolfensberger, parish priest in Fuldera from 1914 to 1916, is known for his stories and poems. To mark the 100th anniversary of his death, the "Promenada William Wolfensberger" was created above Fuldera with a total of five benches where his works can be found. What Wolfensberger describes in his stories and poems is right in front of your eyes on the 1.3 km long Promenada (4.5 km as a circular walk from Fuldera).
Directions
From Fuldera cumün, head into the valley through the village. 50 m after the Fuldera d'Aint PostBus stop, turn right into the forest and follow the hiking trail towards Lü. After crossing the Rombach stream, climb up to the left until you reach the solitary Runc stable. This is where the panoramic and almost flat "Promenada William Wolfensberger" begins. The works of the poet-pastor can be found on the five benches. The Promenada ends at the little road to Lü. From there, walk 50 m downhill, take the shortcut to the right via the signposted hiking trail and return to the little road, which you follow for 500 m to the Furom cross-country skiing center. There, turn right onto the hiking trail "A la riva dal Rom" to the bridge, and from there turn left onto a dirt track back to Fuldera.
