Safiental - Camaner Hütta

This was already the case for the Walsers, who wrested an existence from this barren valley as early as the 14th century. Their sunburnt wooden houses and alpine huts still adorn the left side of the valley between Tenna and Thalkirch. Like a string of pearls, around two dozen of these alpine huts are lined up at Alp Camaner Hütta. The wood stores the heat of the sun and invites you to take a break, especially in spring and autumn. If you sit back and relax, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Bruschghorn, Gelbhorn, Schwarzhorn and Alperschällihorn. All of them rise over 3000 meters into the often cloudless sky. For mountain bikers, the Safiental is usually only a transit valley when they take the Glaspass, Bischolpass or Tomülpass under the wheels. But even those who set up camp in one of the picturesque hamlets will be rewarded. In particular, those who also enjoy well-developed forest and alpine roads will find some possibilities in the Safiental that make a trip to the end of the world worthwhile.
