Details
Description
Every year, artists from near and far meet at the sculpture symposium in Sur En and work on a piece of art during one week in early summer. The resulting works are then handed over to the public for exhibition in the open air along the sculpture trail. The easy circular route starts at the restaurant Sper la Punt in Sur En. Past the rope park, you reach, via forest and woodland paths over numerous small clearings, the more than 150 works of local and international sculptors. Small signs provide information about the respective artist as well as the theme and technique of the respective sculpture. Via Plan da l’Ogna and Plan da la Jürada, visitors finally reach the restaurant Val d'Uina at the entrance to the valley of the same name. Along the paved road, the route leads back to the starting point at the campsite with the PostBus stop.
Hidden Gem
The sculpture trail is also passable in summer, but the route differs slightly in winter. During the cold winter months, part of the path is iced over and prepared for ice skaters.
