Description
Senda Sursilvana - 4th stage Breil/Brigels - Laax
The fourth stage starts in Brigels. From Brigelser Lake, it continues over open terrain to Waltensburg. Upon arrival in Waltensburg, it passes the valley station and heads up to Andiast. From Andiast, the route partially runs through short sections of forest downhill towards the "Panixer reservoir". It continues over alpine meadows and mountain pastures to the mountain village of Siat. Here the route offers a great panorama towards Ilanz as well as over the rest of the valley. From Siat, it continues via Ruschein to Ladir. The area has been settled for thousands of years and is known for its beautiful landscape and views. After Ladir, it crosses the "Val da Cafegn" with a subsequent short descent to Falera. In Falera, a visit to the church of St. Remigus is recommended. It was built about 500 years ago on the magnificent sacred site Mutta. From Falera, the route continues over alpine meadows to the endpoint of the fourth stage in Murschetg (Laax).
