Description
With a total of seven cable car rides, the ascents on this circular route are quickly and comfortably overcome – leaving more stamina for the many first-class singletrail descents. The route starts at Jatzmeder on the Rinerhorn. From there, the route follows the Alps Epic Trail – the only trail in Switzerland that has been awarded an Epic Trail by the IMBA – into the beautiful Walser village of Monstein. From Monstein it goes via Spina back to the valley station of the Rinerhorn. The gondola quickly takes us back up the mountain. From there, a great trail leads down through the Grabatobel forest to Höfji. Via Junkerboden it goes to the Jakobshorn cable car. From the Jakobshorn mountain station you follow the Technik-Trail and the Flowtrail – the so-called "Kügelibahn" – 1,000 meters downhill to the Bolgen area. Next up is the Parsenn cable car, which takes us up to the Weissfluhjoch at over 2,600 m above sea level. From here you follow the next great singletrail past the Parsennhütte to Gotschnagrat. Via the Chalbersäss trail, it then goes down to Klosters where the Gotschnabahn takes us right back up. From Gotschnaboden, another top-class singletrail leads to Lake Davos. On the last few meters to the Davos Dorf station, you can once again review the unique enduro route.
