After an ascent of about 800 meters, the well-deserved reward comes at Motta Tscharnoz: a magnificent view across Savognin and of the peaks far into the Surses valley, followed by a great single trail downhill through the forest.
The route starts at the Savognin cable cars and first runs on an asphalted path through the village. Impressive on this section: the Baroque church Son Martegn, which dominates the village scene. Particularly worth seeing is the ceiling painting inside. Upon reaching the forest, the forest road begins, leading to the highest point of the route. It is a bit steeper in the lower part, the upper third then becomes flatter. Above the tree line lies Alp Tarvisch. The view downhill to Lenzerheide is wonderful. Those who leave the described path at Motta Tscharnoz can make a worthwhile detour to the viewpoint on Alp Tscharnoz. Piz Mitgel, Tinzerhorn, Piz Ela and many other peaks form the panorama here. On the descent, a beautiful, flowing and partly challenging singletrail through the forest awaits. This more than compensates for the ascent. In the end, you turn back onto the forest road to return to Savognin.

The ceiling frescoes of the baroque church of Son Martegn in Savognin are impressive with their concentric circles, creating the illusion of an ascending dome and symbolising paradise. Baroque churches are to be found in several villages in Parc Ela.
