Directions
From Casaccia - parking lot at the small cemetery - follow the driveway, which leads in turns up the wooded slope to the entrance of Val Maroz. The footpath takes a more direct route and repeatedly crosses the road, rejoining it on the flat stretch above.
Past the junction to Septimerpass and the huts of Maroz Dora (1799 m), the wide path leads to Maroz Dent (2035 m). Shortly before the alpine buildings, the path turns left, leads under the alp and crosses the Maira stream on a wooden bridge. At the junction on the other side of the stream, we follow the left path southward up the slope. After the saddle, marked with several cairns, Val da Cam opens up. The path winds through the valley to Lägh da Cam. The descent after the lake begins with a long traverse to the southwest before the path leads relatively steeply down the last 800 meters in altitude to Soglio.
