Description
From Flims, take the main road to Laax Murschetg, climb a few metres to the left of the cable car, and round the Uaul Ravanasc on the south side. Later, you’ll reach Falera, where the real ascent begins: 1,000 hard metres up to Crap Sogn Gion. The first part takes you on a paved mountain road into Val Dado, but it eventually becomes a forest road that will take you to Alp Tegia Sut. A single trail and then a steep mountain path, which becomes almost impassably steep, leads to Crap Sogn Gion. To be honest, it’s best to skip riding this part of the tour and just take the gondola to the summit. A gravel road takes you over the Crest la Siala ridge to Crap Masegn and then a single trail past the Fuorcla Sagogn towards Vorab glacier. The last part of the ascent is on a well-developed small road to Vorab station. This is where the long single-trail descent begins. The marked hiking path will take you to Berghaus Nagens, an inn from where you’ll continue downhill following the trail along the ridge. The third time you come upon a little mountain road, you’ll ride uphill a few metres on it until the trail continues to the right. This then takes you to the Runca trail, which forms the final stretch of the long descent.

Incidentally: Danny MacAskill and Claudio Caluori enjoyed the trails on the Vorab Glacier in the "Home of Trails" video.
