Description

Start at the post bus stop Oberdorf (Buchen), follow Buchnerstrasse downhill to the turn-off Winkelgasse (direction Jenaz). Follow the alley and the forest path Parnetzlisstrasse along the south slope with a wonderful view of Jenaz to the turn-off to Jenaz. Now the path ascends along the Lerchwaldweg until it flows into the Unterputzweg below Sponda. * On this path through the alley past the charming houses up to the junction with Putzerstrasse. On the right you see Castels castle. In Ober Putz, after the old school building, the path leads left up Nuoiserstrasse (winter hiking path no. 41) to the turn-off Galätscha. Turn-off towards Buchen (winter hiking path no. 42), descend on Plattiserstrasse to the starting point in Buchen.
* Here there is the option to continue following Lerchwaldweg to the post bus stop Spondatöbeli, take the post bus 90.218 to Buchen and further towards Schiers. Or on foot via Putzer and Buchnerstrasse back to the starting point Oberdorf in Buchen.
Path conditions

Safety Note

In Eris Törüeli (Buchen) snow slides may cause obstructions.
With persistent snowfall, the paths will be prepared only on the following day.

Normal winter hiking equipment; depending on conditions, poles may be recommended.

By the Rhaetian Railway RhB to Schiers and by post bus to Buchen "Oberdorf". (Timetable field 90.218)

Travel Information

Via the A13 and the B28 to Küblis. Turn left in the middle of Küblis and head uphill on Luzeinerstrasse to the Strilserrank above Luzein, turn-off to Putz, Buchen. 

Parking

There are no public parking spaces in Buchen.
