What is mountain hut magic? For example, when your barley soup is steaming on the sun terrace and the snow-covered mountain giants glitter on the horizon. Food connoisseurs have great options in Graubünden. Whether on Alp Fops, in Teufi in Dischmatal or in one of the numerous other cosy huts. We also celebrate regional cuisine in the winter. Our guests work up their appetite on skis, while sledding or on a walk through natural and romantic snowy landscapes.

Mountain restaurant Heimeli Sapün, near Arosa

Enjoy a fine fondue in the warm mountain inn and then race down the mountain with a sledge (details on the toboggan run) past enormous ice formations down to Langwies. The Heimeli mountain restaurant is tucked away in a unique location in snowy Sapün and entices you to romantic and adventurous experiences.

Alp hut Fops, Lenzerheide

Situated on a terrace at 1886 metres, Alphütte Fops was built especially for sunny winter days. The view of Lenzerhorn, Piz Ela, Corn da Tinizong, Piz Mitgel and Piz d’Err from the small, quaint lodge is simply fantastic. Specialities served from the country kitchen range from fondue to the popular cheese board, or bacon and Salsiz sausage as well as the homemade barley soup.

Sils Maria cow barn, Engadin St. Moritz

Where the cows stand in summer, guests dine in winter. The cow barn in the Corvatsch ski resort is unique and a little bit crazy – just like the host Freddie. During the day he dishes up delicious and simple dishes and in the evening exquisite and creative gourmet menus as well as party sounds.

The Hörnli Hut impresses above all with its excellent and fresh cuisine and delicious desserts, which you will have truly earned after a fun day on the slopes. You can also spend the night in the cabin of the Arosa Ski Club – the alpine panorama in the morning is worth it!

Bodä hut Pany, Prättigau

The Bodä Hut is the starting point of various toboggan runs and the unique horse-drawn sleigh ride trail, the counterpart to banana boating in summer. You sit astride a styrofoam-padded tree trunk equipped with handles and runners. The sleigh is then pulled by a harnessed horse through the deep snow into the valley.
