The Schanfigg village trail connects the villages of the Schanfigg valley from Arosa to Chur on both sides of the valley for hikers. This is the suggested route for the stage from Chur to Pagig.

Description

This stage can be easily combined with a public transport journey, which shortens the walking time. The Postbus runs between Chur and Praden, which can be used to cover part of the route without any problems. You can find the timetable at https://www.sbb.ch/de

Geheimtipp

Lüen, also known as the "Schanfigger Riviera", has such a mild climate that grapes, kiwis and apricots thrive here. The village lies on the Chur - Arosa railway line and is the first stop after Chur town. The large village fountain forms the centre of Lüen. Around it, the wooden houses in knitted construction form one of the most picturesque villagescapes in the whole of Schanfigg. The Waltensburg masterpieces in Lüen church are well worth seeing.
