Biosfera Val Müstair
The Biosfera Val Müstair is a regional nature park of national importance and, together with the Swiss National Park and parts of the municipality of Scuol, forms the first high-alpine UNESCO biosphere reserve in Switzerland. In the sunny Val Müstair, 80 percent of local farmers produce purely organic produce. The valley's multi-faceted craftsmanship is based on tradition and quality, and the region offers a unique cultural and natural landscape. Special jewels distinguish the valley, such as the UNESCO World Heritage St. Johann Monastery, the Manufactura Tessanda weaving mill, the many museums and the typical Grisons villages – framed by a spectacular mountain landscape.
