Silvretta Gletscherlehrpfad

The hike starts in Klosters Monbiel. From there, it is best to take the comfortable Alpine taxi bus to Alp Sardasca. You then reach the Silvretta Hut in 2 hours. This is, on the one hand, the starting point for the glacier educational trail, and on the other hand, you can stay overnight in the cozy hut of the SAC (Alternative A).

Well rested and richer in experience, you set out early in the morning on the glacier educational trail. The trail starts directly at the hut and offers visitors exciting insights into the formation of glaciers, mountaineering, and the flora and fauna in this area. Furthermore, visitors are vividly shown the impacts of climate change.

The circular hike, accompanied by 15 informational panels, takes a total of 1.5 hours and is suitable for children or school classes.

At the Silvretta Hut, you will find the path back to Alp Sardasca along the hut trail. From there you can take the Alpine taxi back to Klosters Monbiel.

The Silvretta Hut is a wonderfully located place to stop and rest.
