Winter hiking: Alp Dado Panorama Round

You have two options to take the route.

Option 1: Valley station Breil/Brigels village

From the valley station, take the chairlift that brings you to Crest Falla and simultaneously to the start of the route. From here, follow the winter trail 1 downhill. After about 500 meters at the hairpin turn, switch to traverse on winter trail 7. Follow this until you cross winter trail 2. Once there, follow winter trail 2 uphill. Now you can follow winter trail 2 to the end, where you reach the mountain restaurant Alp Dado. Here you have the opportunity to stop for a refreshment and enjoy the view towards Obersaxen or the valley. From the mountain restaurant Alp Dado, follow the winter trail 1 downhill. The path runs parallel to the ski slope towards the mountain restaurant Burleun. Stay on winter trail 1, which leads you back to the starting point Crest Falla. Now you have the option to take the chairlift back to Brigels or follow winter trail 1 all the way down to the village.

Option 2: Valley station Waltensburg

From the valley station, take the chairlift up to the final station Alp Dadoand simultaneously to the start of the route. From here, follow winter trail 1 downhill, which runs parallel to the ski slope past the mountain restaurant Burleun. Here you can take a short break to enjoy the mountain scenery from the sun terrace. Continue on winter trail 1 until you reach the hairpin turn, where you switch to winter trail 7. After a short traverse on winter trail 7, you reach winter trail 2. If you want to complete the round up to Alp Dado, follow winter trail 2 uphill. This then leads you to Alp Dado, where you can take the chairlift back down to Waltensburg. If you prefer to walk back to Waltensburg, you can follow winter trail 2 downhill. This path leads you directly to the valley station Waltensburg.

On the hike, you will encounter various alpine huts and other rustic buildings. Take some time in between to pause and enjoy the wonderful mountain landscape. Perhaps even on one of the wooden benches you find in front of one or the other hut.
