Description
The church is open.
The mighty high altar by Johannes Ritz from Selkingen in Goms directs the gaze to the choir (2). In the center is the late Gothic radiant wreath mararia with the baby Jesus (3). Interesting is the altar in the side chapel on the right. Again and again in Lugnez we find the image of the Madonna, who distributes a rosary to St. Dominic and St. Catherine of Siena (4). It is surrounded by the 15 medallions with the mysteries of the Rosary. The remainder of an altar from the workshop of Ivo Strigel serves as a predella. Christ with the gesture of blessing and the globe is surrounded by the 12 disciples (5).
Another work from the Gothic period is located opposite on the Altar of Joseph. Here stands the Pietà, which probably also comes from the Strigel workshop (6). Equally impressive is the crucifix hanging high up with the martyred body of Jesus.
Further works of art are housed in the ossuary, which with its frieze of skulls (8) indicates its function as a mortuary chapel. Inside there is another rosary altar. A separately hung late Gothic altarpiece (9) shows the secrets of the rosary.

The forces are almost high in the entire church, which is an exception. In the choir area you will find neutral strength qualities, as they were used for cult purposes in the past. The probability that the chapel was built on a pre-Christian place of worship is great.
