Vals

The mountain village of Vals with its typical stone roofs in the summer valley
Regions
Deep in the Vals Valley, a side valley of the Surselva, lies the mountain village of Vals. Around the village square there are still original Walser houses covered with stone slabs of Vals quartzite. The valley owes its wilderness and diversity in a very small area to the forces of the water.
