UNESCO-Biosphere Engiadina Val Müstair
The biosphere reserve has a long history. It was awarded the UNESCO label back in 1979, but at that time it was limited to the area of the Swiss National Park, which is now the core zone. Since 2017, Val Müstair with the Biosfera Val Müstair Regional Nature Park and parts of the municipality of Scuol have been included.
