Salenegg Castle in Maienfeld, built between 1782 and 1784, is owned by the Gugelberg von Moos family. Surrounded by an ornamental garden and vineyard, it inspires with its history and architecture.

Zizers Castle, a baroque structure surrounded by arcades and a park, is a landmark of the region. The octagonal tower with a domed roof forms the center of the castle.

The barbecue area is located on the Ansaina waterway in the forest of Alvaneu Bad and can also be reached from the village in a few minutes. Just opposite the barbecue area is a playground. The Albula flows next door and only a short hike away is the Schaftobelfall and also the Crap Furò is about 1.15 hours walk away. The Crap Furò is the geographical centre of Graubünden - see Path of the Pioneers.
