The chapel was consecrated in 1716 and is located in the western part of Surrein. It is oriented towards the east and has a three-sided closed chancel. The chapel was extensively and beautifully restored in 2011.

The existing Sogn Gudegn chapel was built in 1648 and consecrated with an altar on May 16, 1649. It stands on the lower edge of the village on the road towards Degen.

The ski and snowboard school teaches according to the guidelines of Swiss Snowsports. Anyone who attends a weekly course is accepted into the Swiss Snow League. Progress is recorded in a booklet, which accompanies students throughout their training (throughout Switzerland).

The library of the Evangelische Mittelschule Schiers (EMS) is a school library and is available to all school members as an information centre with around 60 workstations. In addition, it has the function of a general public library.
