The village of Salouf is characterised by the partly tower-like Walser houses built in the 13th century, but also the dimensions and the style of some houses built in the 17th and 18th century are also impressive.

From Seewis, a side valley of the Prättigau leads into the Rätikon to Alp Fasons, at the foot of the Schesaplana, with the AlpMuseum, the listed Valarsäge and the SAC Schesaplana. All three are contemporary witnesses of the end of the 19th century.

The chapel in Platenga is dedicated to St. Epiphany. The feast is on January 6th. St. Epiphany is the patron saint of pilgrims and travelers; of furriers; against sorcery, epilepsy, thunderstorms and hail. Their intercession is also invoked against sudden death.

The chapel, located on the western edge of the village, dates from 1689. The north-facing chapel consists of a nave just under 12 meters long and 5.20 meters wide without side chapels and a choir closed on three sides.

In the 1970s the then intact moorland at Jufplaun was drained to reclaim pastures. In August 2013 work was completed for renaturalisation. Since then the magnificent fen vegetation has slowly begun to settle again.

With the Reformation around 1524, the church was converted into a sober sermon hall. The whitewashed frescoes from the late Middle Ages have been uncovered again today and are much admired.
