The organic farm Solanum is located in the small hamlet of Rumein, which belongs to the municipality of Lumnezia. The farm is located at almost 1200 meters above sea level, the land is located on a sunny southeast slope.

In the 1970s the then intact moorland at Jufplaun was drained to reclaim pastures. In August 2013 work was completed for renaturalisation. Since then the magnificent fen vegetation has slowly begun to settle again.
