The chapel, located on the western edge of the village, dates from 1689. The north-facing chapel consists of a nave just under 12 meters long and 5.20 meters wide without side chapels and a choir closed on three sides.

Stuls is located north of Bergün on a narrow terrace high above the valley of the Albula at 1551 m altitude. The houses on the village street have strong Engadin style influences and are partially provided with original preserved and dated sgraffito decorations.
