Tschlin is remote, idyllic, intact and highly vital. Influenced by agriculture, the village presents a coexistence of people, animals and landscape more clearly than any other place. The village belongs to the municipality of Valsot and there are around 850 inhabitants living on an area of 15800 km².

In the historic Zug Gorge, which lies between Davos Wiesen and Davos Glaris, the waterfall plunges into the Landwasser at the Bärentritt. The easiest way to reach the waterfall is from the stop of the Davos Wiesen station.

The Landwasser Viaduct is one of the most famous structures in Graubünden and the most spectacular bridge structure of the RhB. Since 2008, the Landwasser Viaduct has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the summer of 2025, the Landwasserwelt - the adventure world around the Landwasser Viaduct - will open its doors.
