Right next to the popular Paradiswäldli playground in Ilanz, a new meeting and exercise zone has been designed. The aim of this upgrade is to motivate the population to exercise more and to promote exchange between the generations. The result is a versatile place that combines play, health and encounters.

The fountain of Caschneras was built in 1934. Like most other village wells, it also performed various tasks. It was a cattle trough and served the village women at the big "Buchata", the washing day on which the bed linen was cleaned in spring and autumn. In addition, all kinds of agricultural equipment were washed in the additional washing trough.
