The mighty stone house with the tower above the entrance is located in the village center next to the main street. The famous governor Casper de Latour-Scarpatetti (1862-1949) had it built between 1895 and 1898.

The Sogn Antoni chapel in Rumein was consecrated in 1672 by Bishop Ulrich de Mont and once belonged to the valley church of Sogn Vintschegn in Pleif. Today it belongs to the Benedictine monastery in Disentis.Key available.

The chapel on the village square was donated by the magistrate Gallus von Mont during a plague epidemic and consecrated in 1592. The façade was designed by Alois Carigiet during a renovation in 1940. The interior is the work of Hans Ardüser.
