The Upper Sprecher House in Jenins is an impressive patrician house with a crenellated tower. The symmetrical facade and the southern civic garden are remarkable. The interiors are furnished with baroque pine paneling and historic stoves.

The electrification of timber transport from Silgin to Lumbrein was one of the main drivers to build its own power plant in 1919. Until 1946, only the municipality of Lumbrein was connected to the electricity grid. It was not until 1946 that the municipality of Vrin was connected to the grid of the EW Lumbrein and supplied with electrical energy for the first time.

The mill near Surin, whose remains of the wall are still visible today, was built at the beginning of the 17th century. Research shows that it was in operation from about 1670 to 1941.
