The peculiarity of the old mill (rumantsch surmiran: Mulegn Vigl) is the combination of a stone mill with a roller mill in a small space. In 1975, the mills were extensively renovated and placed under federal monument protection.
The former municipality of Tinizong-Rona was formed on 1 July 1998 from the merger of the two villages Tinizong and Rona. Since 2016, the village belongs to the municipality of Surses.
The stable of the peterelli tower house (3), which was already in Savognin during Segantini's lifetime, now houses a workshop for thinking and the future.

The sheep are returned from the pasture to the barn shortly before dark. Segantini thus addresses the intimate bond between humans and animals. The original stable no longer exists, it stood east of the Veia Tgaplottas (Chapel Path). In the background of the picture you can see the chapel.

The picture painted in the stable of the local museum Savognin is considered a key work for the representation of motherhood. The theme occupies Giovanni Segantini for a lifetime and can be seen in various of his paintings. He himself lost his mother at an early age and spent a difficult childhood.
