Haus Wildenstein was built in 1885 and furnished 30 years later by Anton Barandun as a guesthouse with inn and shop. This makes it the oldest still existing inn in Feldis.

In the extensive municipality of Obersaxen at the foot of the 2064-meter-high Piz Mundaun, the "Bündner Rigi", Upper Saxony is spoken in the otherwise Rhaeto-Romance language area.
