Deep in the Vals valley, a side valley of Surselva south of Ilanz, at an altitude of 1,250 metres, lies Vals. Welcome to the natural river bath "Illagrass" on the Peilerbach. Its water flows down from the mountains through the Peiler Valley to Vals. In it, the crystal-clear spring water mixes with the meltwater.
