The Rütihof in Malans is a lively farm with cows, pigs, horses, goats and more – on the alp in summer, on the farm in winter. The fodder comes from the farm's own fields, and viticulture is also part of the farm. Popular with visitors: a snack with alpine cheese, Salzis or Mostbröckli from the farm shop.

The houses, in the village center mainly beautiful and stately patrician buildings, spread along alleys and streets in all directions and form a star. The Heuberge ski area at 2000 m is known for one of the longest toboggan runs in Switzerland (12 km).
