Day 1 San Jon - S-charl - Tamangur - Pass da Costainas - Lü - Tschierv
We make a short stop in the well-known S-Charl, where we are very close to the mountains. Then we ride past the highest stone pine forest in Europe, up to Alp Tamangur, where we have something to eat. After a descent and a short stop at Alp Champatsch, we reach Lü via Pass da Costainas (2251m). We then tackle the last stage of the first day and will arrive in Tschierv in the evening.
Day 2 Tschierv - Süsom Givè - Funtanas da S-Charl - Tamangur - S-Charl - San Jon
Early in the morning we ride through the picturesque Münstertal towards the Ofenpass. We take a lunch break on Alp da Munt and then have another brave climb ahead of us. At Funtana da S-Charl (2393 m above sea level) we can enjoy a wonderful view. Then we continue to the Alp Tamangur, which we already know. In S-Charl we stop for coffee before we head back to San Jon.
Meeting point: San Jon: 8:00 a.m. (grooming and saddling horses), departure at 9:00 a.m.
Riding time per day: 6 - 7 hours. Due to the many meters of altitude and the saddlebags, the treks are mainly ridden at a walking pace.
Overnight stay: “La Vopa” guesthouse, Tschierv
Food: Dinner and breakfast are eaten in the guesthouse. You can bring your own lunch or buy it at the hotel.
Take with you: good shoes (hiking boots), rain protection, sun protection, small drinking bottle or thermos flask, warm clothing depending on the weather, riding helmet

A Swiss Ranger accompanies you on the beaver tour (in German) in Giessenpark in Bad Ragaz. The rager will guide you to the beaver lodge and with a bit of luck you will be able to witness the animals at work.
Observation of beavers in their natural habitat
Exciting information from a Swiss Ranger
The active beavers in the Giessenpark near Bad Ragaz are awake when most people are asleep, which is why the beaver tours begin in the evening. A Swiss Ranger leads the way to where the beavers are at work. With a bit of luck, you can watch the beavers at work or foraging for food.
