Bernina Standard Helicopter Scenic Flight from Samedan
Description
On the Bernina Standard helicopter tour, you take off from Samedan heading towards the high Alps. You fly directly into the glacier world of the Bernina massif and see the mountain scenery from a new perspective. Below you, extensive glacier surfaces and distinctive rock formations pass by.
The route initially takes you over the Morteratsch Glacier, which stretches impressively through the valley. Then you approach Piz Palü with its striking peaks. You get particularly close to Piz Bernina at 4050 m above sea level and the elegant Biancograt. This view is a highlight of the flight.
Further along, you encounter Piz Roseg with its impressive summit shape. Finally, the return route takes you over the lake landscape of Upper Engadine. The view of the shimmering blue lakes and surrounding mountains rounds off your flight experience.

A private wine guide from Wine Tours Switzerland will pick you up in the afternoon at the Alten Torkel in Jenins or at an agreed location in the region. During the drive through the villages of the Bündner Herrschaft, you’ll gain an insight into the region’s history, the origins of Bündner Pinot Noir and the unique terroir. In the vineyards, you’ll learn more about the work involved in viticulture. At a selected winery, you’ll be introduced to the secrets of winemaking and visit a historic wine cellar. The guided tasting is accompanied by Grisons dried meat specialities and cheese from the surrounding Alps. The tour concludes with dinner at the Alten Torkel in Jenins. There you will enjoy a seasonal four-course wine tasting menu with carefully paired wines from the Bündner Herrschaft.
