St. Antönien, the first mountaineering village in Switzerland, is a real Eldorado for fantastic snowshoe tours in the Rätikon. Every day we are out and about in the snowy valleys around St. Antönien. The trained snowshoe guide not only knows the most beautiful routes, but can also tell you a lot about nature.
The tour starts at 9 a.m. at St. Antönien Platz and ends there at around 4 p.m.
Requirements
WT2: "Medium/Normal" snowshoe hikes above the tree line. We cover about 550 to 750 meters in altitude at a leisurely pace and are on the road for about 5 to 6 hours.
Important information
The snowshoe tour takes place with two or more participants, max. 7 participants.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the participants will be informed the day before.

Wildlife watching ibex, stag, chamois and co. in the Weisstannental valley
Description
Join an experienced Swiss Ranger for an exciting tour in the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Tektonikarena Sardona. In the Weisstannental valley, you can observe various wild animals in their natural habitat.
The tour starts at 09:15 at the Weisstannen post bus station in Oberdorf. The tour takes you through the remote Weisstannental valley, where you'll be greeted by incredible nature featuring waterfalls up to 80 meters high. The Swiss Ranger will share many fascinating stories about the nature and its inhabitants.
You'll be led to the best spots to observe animals like deer, roe deer, bearded vultures, chamois, and ibexes. With a bit of luck, you might have the chance to spot some animals in the wild.
The tour ends again at the starting point at 16:45.

Hike on the theme of bears, lynx and wolves in the Engadine
Description
The hike starts at 14:00 at the post bus stop "Daint" in Fuldera. There you will meet your hiking guide. Afterwards you can already start.
Together you will hike through the beautiful Val Müstair. You will follow the tracks of the large predators of Switzerland: bears, lynx and wolves.
During the whole hike the guide and hunter will introduce you to the world of the animals. This includes real skins, skulls and footprints to touch. The excursion ends at about 17:00.

The culinary hike "Forest and Water" begins at the Kaufmannfrauen Bistro in Flims Waldhaus with an appetizer. You pass by the turquoise Caumasee and enjoy the breathtaking nature along the Rhine Gorge.
In Conn awaits you the main course before taking a short detour to the famous viewpoint Il Spir. Afterwards, the journey continues to the Crestasee restaurant, where a delicious dessert awaits you.

The Il Spir viewpoint is located at the edge of the Tektonikarena Sardona, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. The platform offers an impressive view into the Ruinaulta (Rhine Gorge), which formed around 10,000 years ago during the Flims landslide.
The Felsbach Gorge near Flims is a short, wild-romantic section of the Flembach River, running through lush green forest and particularly appealing on warm days with its shaded walking trail. It is located very close to the Crestasee.

The ride high over the south side of the Splügen Pass is full of beautiful views. You will master this route with a modern 4x4 quad, which is very fun to drive. At the beginning you will get a short instruction in driving over terrain and snow so that you feel safe on the quad.
At 9:00 am you will meet your guide in Splügen and receive your 4x4 quad for the day. First you will be introduced to driving the quad by your guide. Then he will show you how to drive safely over terrain and snow. Once everyone feels safe on the quad, the tour starts. You will drive over exciting routes on the south side up to the pass at the border to Italy. The ride will take you over many small mountain roads and dirt tracks. So that you have enough energy for the whole day, food is provided with snacksi and lunch in the mountain house.
After the tour you return to Splügen and say goodbye to your guide. The tour ends at about 17:00.

You start in Tamins and on the first day hike up to the Ringelspitz hut to get ready for the high alpine tour. On the second day, you follow the middle ridge, climbing on varied rock to reach Ringelspitz, the highest peak in the canton of St. Gallen.
Along the way, you travel through alpine terrain with some easy climbing sections where you’ll rely on your surefootedness and head for heights. When conditions are right, the descent takes you over the distinctive Tschepband through the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site with its impressive mountain scenery.
The combination of the hut approach, ridge climbing and a scenic summit gives you an intense alpine experience with wide panoramic views. This way, you experience Ringelspitz as a classic high alpine tour with a clear structure and stunning surroundings.
Program
**Day 1:**
Your first day starts in Tamins, where you join carpool groups heading to Kunkel Pass. From there, you take a pleasant hiking trail up to the Ringelspitz Hut, settle into the dormitory, and unwind in the tranquil hut atmosphere at the end of the day.
**Day 2:**
On the second day, you follow the trail marks over sandy terrain toward the Tamin Glacier and reach the start of the middle ridge. Roped up, you climb several varied sections to Vorder Ringel. Finally, you continue over the steep, exposed final section to the Ringelspitz, enjoying its expansive panorama.
For the descent, if conditions allow, you take the route over the Tschepband along the Glarus thrust fault within the Sardona tectonic arena, return to the hut, and then descend further to Kunkel Pass.
