Day 1: Chur Individual arrival in Chur. The oldest city in Switzerland enchants in the midst of an imposing mountain world with winding alleys and historic buildings. With the local mountain Brambrüesch, the city has its own hiking area with a view of the surrounding mountains and the Chur Rhine Valley. One night in Chur.
Day 2: Chur - St. Moritz Today a highlight awaits, the first stopover of the Via Albula/Bernina route, leads to the imposing Landwasser Viaduct and on to the railway station in Bergün. This is where you start your hike.
The mountain hiking trail follows the Albulaufer and crosses the railway line several times, which has the most daring line in this section. The Railway Adventure Trail explains this hundred-year-old railway engineering and leads through the Ela Regional Nature Park. Bergün, with its Engadine houses and railway museum, is considered a Mecca for railway enthusiasts.
From Preda, the train continues to St. Moritz. 2 nights in St. Moritz.
Day 3: Diavolezza/Alp Grüm or Bernina Tour Train ride through moorland and alpine pastures, past the Morteratsch glacier to the valley stadium of the Diavoelzza.
Hike to the Bernina Pass, past the Lago Bianco-Lej Nair watershed and up to Alp Grüm.
Then take the train back to the valley station of the Diavolezza. Here you can take the cable car to almost 3,000 m. In summer, the Diavolezza awaits you with a beautiful panoramic terrace with a view of "the ballroom of the Alps", a mountain house with the highest virtual reality experience in the world, as well as numerous hiking trails and via ferratas.
Day 4: St. Moritz - Davos After breakfast, you will follow in the footsteps of the famous painter Giovanni Segantini to one of the most beautiful vantage points in the Upper Engadine. The spectacular drive up to Muottas Muragl already gives an idea of what kind of panorama to expect.
This well-marked but sometimes steep route leads sure-footed mountain hikers from the Muottas Muragl mountain station (2,456 m) up to Giovanni Segantini's last home. At the Segantini Hut (2,731 m) you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the incomparable Engadine lake landscape and the Bernina massif. This is followed by the steep descent down to Alp Languard, then with the chairlift to Pontresina.
On the train ride to Filisur, you will once again cross the heart of the Albula Line of the Rhaetian Railway, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, enjoy the somewhat different train ride from Filisur to Davos. In just under 40 minutes, the journey leads through the wildly romantic Zügenschlucht, over the famous Wiesnerviadukt to Davos. One night in Davos.

We start from San Jon via the sunny side of the Engadine to Sent and on to Val Sinestra and the Hotel Sinestra. The Hotel Sinestra is secluded in a valley surrounded by unspoilt nature at an altitude of 1,500 metres. Val Sinestra was voted Landscape of the Year by the Swiss Landscape Conservation Foundation in 2011. Val Sinestra stretches between the municipalities of Sent and Ramosch in a north-westerly direction towards the Fimber Pass (2605 metres above sea level), which leads to Ischgl in Tyrol. The "Brancla" torrent flows through the valley, emerges from a rugged rocky gorge at the "Tschanüff" castle ruins into the Inn valley and soon flows into the Inn.
With picturesque flower meadows in spring, the fresh mountain air in summer, the colourful larch forests in autumn and the mysterious fairytale landscape in winter, it is one of the most beautiful mountain regions in Switzerland. The air is clean, the people are friendly and the sun shines pleasantly often and all year round. Sinestra. The Hotel Sinestra was made famous by the film "Hotel Sinestra". A haunting gives some children a few parent-free days in a snow-covered Swiss mountain hotel.
Day 2 Val Sinestra - Vnà - Tschlin
From Sinestra we ride via the picturesque village of Vnà to Tschlin. We ride through beautiful alpine landscapes, high above the valley floor, where alpine roses bloom and bearded vultures hunt. An unforgettable view over the Engadin, the forests and our Engadin Dolomites, with the destination, the village of Tschlin. Tschlin is like an eagle's nest, a beautiful sun terrace. In Tschlin, a village where clever ideas bubble up, the small organic brewery Biera Engiadinaisa, known far beyond the village, thrives alongside good ideas. High-quality products and services from the municipality are summarised under the Bun Tschlin label, from homemade liqueur, fine sheep's milk yoghurt and goat's cheese to meat from Scottish Highland cattle. Quality instead of quantity, small but nice. We will spend the night in the Hotel Tschlin.
Day 3 Tschlin - Sur En - San Jon
From Tschlin we walk down the "senda dal magliavirüclas" (Warzenbeisserweg) to the Inn, from there along the Inn to Sur En and then back up to San Jon, where our adventure trip ends.
Riding time per day: approx. 5 hours
Departure: approx. 9.30 am, 8.30 am meeting point in the stable, grooming/saddling horses
