Ski Resort Parsenn

Parsenn, which connects Davos and Klosters, is considered the cradle of skiing in Switzerland. In 1895 four English tourists got lost on the Weissfluhjoch and finally ended up in Küblis. The 12 km long Parsenn was discovered and a myth of the Alps was born. Since the opening of the funicular over 80 years ago Parsenn is the classic ski mountain with endless descents on wide slopes and mountain huts with style and tradition. The Parsenn Derby takes place annually here with the oldest ski race in Switzerland. The ski area is accessible from Davos with the Parsenn railway and from Klosters with the Gotschna railway
