Description

You have to earn the Crap Masegn Trail first. The ascent from Crap Sogn Gion, which you can reach by mountain railway, leads along an alpine road to the trail entrance on Crap Masegn. From there, the trail initially winds along the ridge. After a short climb on the hiking trail, you reach the descent to Fuorcla da Sagogn. The trail now leads through the unique karst landscape and across high alpine meadows down to Camona Vorab.

Hidden Gem

Truely amazing view deep into the alps of the Grisons! But watch out: Keep your eyes on the trail while riding!

Equipment

Bring emergency kit, snacks and bike repair - the way back to the valley is long!

Weather conditions can change quickly in the alps. Better have a rain jacket and something warm to dress with you.

Public Transport

Take the train to Chur and from there the post bus to Laax Murschetg, Bergbahnen. From there you can reach the mountain railway to Crap Sogn Gion.

Travel Information

Take the A13 motorway to Chur and continue to exit no. 18 "Reichenau". From there, head towards Laax Murschetg.
