The longest suspension bridge in the canton of Graubünden
Details
Description
For our sunny afternoon walk, we start at Center Fontauna in Disentis. On an old stone-lined path, we reach the church Sontga Gada.
Here it is, the suspension bridge: At 280 meters in length, it offers us a view 100 meters down into a narrow gorge where the young Rhine winds its way through. We take our time and enjoy this new and unusual perspective. Deep below, we see a bridge over the river which is part of the hiking and former mule track leading to Mompé Medel and onwards to the Lukmanier Pass.
Info: It can happen that the bridge is not cleared immediately after heavy snowfall.
