The crown of the Surselva is an impressive and sometimes challenging circular hike from hut to hut in Graubünden. It connects the seven mountain huts in the Surselva - the Anterior Rhine Valley between Flims and the source of the Rhine on the Oberalp Pass, including the valleys of Vals, Lumnezia and Medel.

Description

From Vrin via Puzzatsch you reach the gentle hiking trail that leads over Alp Diesrut to the Diesrut Pass. From there, the unique view of the Greina plain opens up. After a short descent into the Greina, we cross the suspension bridge to the Terri hut. The approach from Vrin is very popular with families.

Terrihütte «Die Greina-Hütte»

The Terri hut is the ideal starting point for unforgettable hikes through the tundra of the Greina plateau. The hut was rebuilt in 2007 by the Vrin architect Gion A. Caminada and became an architectural jewel. Situated on a green hill at 2170 m above sea level, it offers a beautiful view through the Val Sumvitg to the Tödi. Whether with friends, family or even with your club, let us pamper you and enjoy the hospitable hut atmosphere and the food prepared with love.

Sicherheitshinweis

Attention: On high-altitude sections, snowfields are possible until the summer months.

In uncertain weather conditions, the tour should not be started. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent. If a rain front or similar comes up during the hike, you should turn back in time.

The pass Diesrut is 2428 m above sea level and is also called the gateway to the Greina. The climb to Pass Diesrut is not steep, but steadily rising. From Puzzatsch you can reach it in about 2 1/2 hours.
