Details

Description

From Guarda down to the hamlet of Giarsun, the path winds upwards over the Inn via Zeznina Dadoura to Alp Zeznina Dadaint (1958 m). It continues up the valley to the next junction. Here turn left towards Murtera. The path first runs almost horizontal, then suddenly climbs almost in a direct line up the slope and shortly afterwards flattens out again heading northeast. So pay close attention to the markings. From about 2450 m the trail becomes weaker and later almost disappears in the grazing slopes. The summit is reached in a few minutes over a grassy ridge.

Hourly by the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Prättigau or Upper Engadin) to Guarda station

Travel Information

From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina Tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela Pass into the Lower Engadin on H27

From the east: via Landeck / Austria towards St. Moritz on H27

From the south: via Reschen Pass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofen Pass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27

Guarda can be reached in 5 minutes by car from the Engadin road at Giarsun (10 minutes from the Vereina south portal)
