Details
Description
This bike route starts in Brigels. Ride towards Tschuppina and keep right at the fountain in front of the golf course parking lot. On the way over wide and narrow trails, there is the opportunity to visit the Flanz viewpoint with its magnificent panorama. Via Plaun Datschina, you reach the road leading towards Waltensburg. However, you turn left and follow the road to Andiast. Soon (at the mountain railway parking lot in Curtginet), you turn left again and steadily but steeply follow this paved road to the Gneida reservoir. About 200m after the lake, it turns left again. At the next hairpin bend, turn left and cross the Ual da Foppas stream. For a short stretch (about 350m), you climb on the old alpine road. Now, you let your bike run free over a meadow path until you reach the asphalted road by the chairlift. Soon Brigels greets you again.
Hidden Gem
Visit the Flanz viewpoint with its magnificent panorama. A view almost like free-falling down into the valley – of course well secured with a railing.
If you want to recharge yourself and the e-bike, you can do so at the Restaurant/Hotel Ucliva in Waltensburg.
Safety Note
In uncertain weather conditions, the route should not be undertaken. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent. If a rain front or similar approaches during the route, you should turn around in time.
