Description

The tour leads through carefully managed cultural landscapes from Zillis to the mountain village of Lohn and via Wergenstein, Casti and Clugin to Andeer and the starting point Zillis. Visible from afar, there is a church at every settlement. The exposed locations on hills and terrain ridges allow direct eye contact with the mother church of St. Martin in Zillis. Most church buildings in Schams have their origins in the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries or earlier. Convince yourself of the foresight and visit some of the ten churches along the route.
