Description
The story of little Schellenursli is one of the most popular children's book classics in Switzerland. Although it is set in Guarda in the Lower Engadin, the custom it beautifully illustrates is known and loved throughout the entire Engadin: At the annual "Chalandamarz," winter is driven away with loud ringing of bells.
The lovingly designed Schellenursliweg St. Moritz leads in an authentic mountain setting from Salastrains to the Heidi hut and further to St. Moritz village. Along the way, magnificent wooden sculptures depicting scenes from the book, as well as multilingual text panels, invite you to explore the story on foot. The enchanting view of Lake St. Moritz, which repeatedly peeks through the treetops, also contributes to an enjoyable walk. Thus, the time (about 45 minutes) flies by!
