Description

In the middle of the magical Laax forest, since summer 2021, there has been a whole new and special way to experience forest bathing: the „Senda dil Dragun“, the longest treetop path in the world. This route leads you directly up to the airy heights. And while you hike from the Laax Murschetg district to Laax village, not only you but also potential younger fellow hikers will have great fun.

Safety Note


  • Dogs* and animals of all kinds are unfortunately not allowed on the path. Exception for assistance and guide dogs. Leash obligation applies on our premises. 

  • Handling open fire on the path is prohibited.


  • The path may only be used for safety reasons with wheelchairs and strollers.



  • You are in the open nature deep in the forest. Many animals live there that should not be disturbed by extra noise.

  • Picnicking on the path is not allowed. Enjoy your picnic at Lake Laax or at one of the fireplaces around the treetop path.

  • From the age of 6, it is allowed to use the slide without accompaniment.

  • Children under 6 years may slide free of charge accompanied by an adult.

Equipment

It is recommended to wear clothing and footwear adapted to the season. 

Directions

The path starts in the heart of the Laax district Laax Murschetg. Right at the beginning, a tower awaits to be climbed by you. Then you already dive into the magic of the forest. A total of one and a half kilometers want to be explored. At eye level with the native trees, you wander from platform to platform and learn interesting facts about the region, its plants, and its human as well as animal inhabitants. Finally, you return to the starting point via the same route.

Public Transport

If you arrive by train, the international train connections take you to Chur. From there, you can reach our destination by post bus towards Flims. The same applies if you arrive with the Rhaetian Railway in Ilanz. The best connections can be found at the SBB.

Travel Information

If you come from Zurich or Basel, follow the A3/A13 motorway towards Chur and exit at Reichenau (No. 18). Then take route No. 19 and reach LAAX after about 30 minutes. Coming from San Bernardino, you also use the Reichenau (No. 18) exit.

Parking

In Laax Murschetg there is a corresponding parking garage (mountain railways).
