Description

On this beautiful ski tour you can comfortably cover the first meters of altitude with the mountain railways. As a result, you are often not alone in the direction of the summit. Optionally, the tour can also be walked from the valley. Starting from the Tambo Alp it goes relatively flat over the Rietboda to Alt Säss and then to the "Im Chrüz". Follow the Hintertälli to about point 2250 and then to point 2308. Then you walk around the steep flank and aim at the Schafsitabach. You can follow this and then walk in the direction of Gemsschlucht. From there you walk around the northern rock head on the southeast ridge. You can then follow this on the ridge to finally reach the summit. The descent then follows on the auftiegsroute either back to the ski resort Splügen Tambo or then to the valley. For ski tourers there are special ski touring tickets, which can be purchased at the mountain railways.
