Staderas - Conn - viewpoint "Il Spir"

The easy hike leads from Staderas to the sports center, then through the Flims forest directly along the shore of Lake Cauma and gently descending again to the sunny terrace Conn. Only a few hundred meters further, you reach the "Il Spir" viewpoint with a unique view into the Rhine Gorge.

It is worth making a detour to the "Il Spir" viewpoint, a 5-minute walk away, which juts into the Rhine Gorge and thus offers a 180° view of the "Swiss Grand Canyon".

We start our hike from the Staderas car park. From here, we walk towards Flims into the forest and turn right at the signpost 24 by the sports center. Shortly afterwards, on our left appears Lag Prau Tuleritg as well as the cross-country ski trail, which runs parallel to our path for some time. After about 20 minutes, we reach Lake Cauma, whose turquoise-green color glimmers through the trees. We keep our southeast course and continue along the gently descending path until, after about 1 km, we leave the forest and reach a large clearing. On the right side is a viewpoint offering a wide view into the Rhine Gorge. Now it is only a few meters to the Conn restaurant, which invites you to linger.
