Chant Blau themed trail
Walk around the Chant Blau plateau and enjoy nature at the Flüelapass.
Details
Description
Particularly attractive is the area just above the water catchment of the Susch small hydropower plant. On this plateau, the Susasca flows lively and without constraints. Small lakes, ponds, and moderately flowing streams form. The sight makes the hearts of children beat faster, just as much as those of adults. The older ones feel transported back to their childhood or youth and immediately start building small dams or splashing in the lake, while the children do the same or help them. On a one-hour circular walk from the parking lot, you can immerse yourself in the idyllic natural landscape.
The hiking trail is located on the south side of the Flüelapass.
The area was renatured in 2012 as part of compensation measures for the Susasca Susch power plant, and the OESS created the circular hiking trail in 2014.
