Description

From Vella, the trail leads via Triel to the Hitzeggenkopf. Continue along the ridge to Piz Mundaun. Once at the summit, it is worth taking a break to enjoy the panorama from the viewing platform. From Piz Mundaun - affectionately also called Bündner Rigi - you can enjoy the view as far as Chur, the Bernese Oberland and the Austrian Alps. This sensational view is followed by another highlight of the trail, the restaurant "Bündner Rigi". 

Then you reach the Valley of Light (Val Lumnezia) via Morissen. The end of the trail is Vella, the unofficial capital of Val Lumnezia.
