Description
This varied trail leads from Casaccia to Soglio on the sunny side of Bregaglia. There are always spectacular views of the rugged three-thousand-metre peaks that separate Bergell from Italy.
In principle, it is easy to walk, but the differences in altitude of 464 m uphill and 825 m downhill should not be underestimated.

For those who want to walk the entire panoramic trail, the second day continues from Soglio in the direction of Savogno.
Hidden Gem
A stop at Alp Durbegia is well worthwhile. The Besenbeiz is open in summer and serves coffee, cake, fresh drinks and snacks.
Safety Note
Due to an acute risk of falling rocks, the original route between Roticcio and Vicosoprano is closed until further notice. Until this route is passable again, the trail is alternatively routed from Roticcio below the Mulina campsite to Vicosoprano and from there to Durbegia.
Equipment
Hiking boots, rain protection, food from your rucksack
Directions
From Casaccia, the trail heads west on the right side of the valley, over the Maira bridge and through flat meadows to the small lake of Löbbia. After the lake, follow the red and white markings and, descending slightly, reach Barga and, after more conifer and birch woods, the hamlet of Roticcio.
To avoid the road closure between Roticcio and Durbegia, at the end of the village follow the descending path or the road towards Vicosoprano as far as the Mulina campsite. About 50 m below the campsite, the route follows the path that turns off to the right, past the mill pond and after about 800 m comes to a small forest road. Following the road uphill, you reach Durbegia and thus the original Sentiero Panoramico again.

The path soon becomes narrower and leads as a footpath through several ravines and streams. Pass former stables and descend through some clearings to Parlongh. The path remains pretty much at the same altitude until shortly before Soglio, then descends steeply to the green meadows of Soglio.
This hike takes about five hours.
The route can be shortened by walking only the section to Vicosoprano (junction shortly before Durbegia) or to Stampa (junction at Parlongh).
