Wergenstein - Cufercal hut, viaSpluga Bianco stage 1 (hard)

From Wergenstein (1486 m) to the west steeply up to the Maiensässhütten of Dumagns (1823 m). Here you cross the steep NE slopes of the Val da Larisch to the stream ditch, which descends from Alp Tumpriv. In the north of this ditch up to Alp Tumpriv (2190 m) and over a steep step southwestwards to the flat ridge of Tguma P. 2402. From here, with little loss of altitude, you traverse over a rock ledge to the southwest into the valley floor of Plan Darmeras (approx. 2350 m). Between the two streams up into the Valletta and in the north of P. 2674 to the right over a short steep step into the hollow north of P. 2790. To the right between rock ledges up to the Gelbhorn.

From the Gelbhorn you ride down the steep E-SE slope to the shoulder of P. 2792. From there in the southwest past the Muttolta to the Farcletta digl Lai Grand (2660 m). Then descent into the areas south of the Lai Grand (2450 m). From there, traverse under the steep NE slopes of the Pizzas d'Anarosa to the southeast via P 2475 and ascent to the Farcletta digl Lai Pintg (2585 m). Now descend east to the Cufercalhütte SAC (2385 m).
